2D Materials, Thermoelectrics and Transistors

Thomas Szkopek talks about cool two-dimensional materials and what he learns about them in high magnetic fields.

Watch Szkopek, a physicist at McGill University, discuss his research on tin selenide and how it could be used in electronics or thermelectric materials. We recorded two takes of those interviews, one for scientists (with MagLab physicist William Coniglio) and one for the masses (with MagLab researcher Roxanne Hughes). Watch both in the video below!
