DC Field Magnets & Instruments

The facility contains 14 resistive magnet cells connected to a newly upgraded 56 MW DC power supply and 15,000 square feet of cooling equipment. The cells house six resistive magnets, six superconducting magnets, and 2 hybrid magnets. One hybrid magnet can be used for both condensed matter science physics and NMR spectroscopy.
