60 Tesla Controlled Waveform Magnet

60 Tesla Controlled Waveform Magnet

Also known as the 60 Tesla Long Pulse, this magnet allows users to specify the magnetic field profile. In particular, this magnet has the ability to sustain peak fields for up to 100 ms.

The generator is currently offline for repairs and maintenance. Please consider the new 75T Duplex Magnet for your research needs.

Powered solely by the 1.4 GW motor-generator, this magnet is well suited for magnetothermal measurements and large volume samples.
