    Research Interests: His current research interests focus on the application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in science and engineering. These applications involve using MRI to measure the anisotropic diffusion of water in brain tissue, the multi-component relaxation of water protons in engineered tissues and the complex shear modulus of brain tissue in humans and animals as they grow and age.
