- -Cryogenic techniques including He^3/He^4, He^3, He^4, and adiabatic demagnetization systems use and development
- -Removing unwanted noise from experimental systems, shielding,
- grounding, and filtering\-Measurements of extremely high critical currents in superconducting wires and cables
- -Molecular Beam Epitaxy, growth and development, including MBE lab establishment
- -Ultra high vacuum techniques, cleanrooms
- -Designing probes, cables, and breakout boxes for transport measurements.
- -Electrical transport and magnetotransport techniques (ac and dc), including Hall,
- magnetoresistivity, magnetocapacitance at mK temperatures, high magnetic fields, resistance noise measurements, resistance relaxation measurements
- -Measurements of very high resistance materials
- -General preparation, growth, and characterization of semiconductor and superconductor samples, including nanostructurization (e-beam and photolitography),
- gating, FET fabrication, polishing, dry and wet etching, metallization, preparation of ultra thin samples, annealing, etc.
