Abstract: G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are sensory membrane proteins that are crucial to many biological processes and are high-valued drug targets in academic and industrial labs. This talk will provide a high-level overview of the Eddy Group’s application of solution and solid-state NMR spectroscopy to investigate how small molecules and membrane lipids regulate the activity and conformational equilibria of human GPCRs. The talk will also highlight opportunities for future collaborations and synergies with the MagLab.
