A scientific symposium and festschrift celebration to honor Laura Greene and her many contributions to science. This event will take place in Tallahassee on Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13, 2024.
This special scientific symposium will travel through time to honor Laura Greene's impressive body of work investigating strongly correlated electron systems. Focused on fundamental studies to determine the mechanisms of unconventional superconductivity, her research uses planar tunneling, point contact electron spectroscopies and on developing methods for predictive design of new families of superconducting materials.
The scientific program will be coupled with the 2024 Theory Winter School and a festschrift celebration featuring special performances and a banquet dinner.
