AMRIS Facility, McKnight Brain Institute

Title: NMR metabolomics and 13C fluxomics

Description: The NIH funded P41 "National Resource for Advanced NMR Technology" is sponsoring an in depth workshop on NMR metabolomics and 13C fluxomics the week of May 7-11, 2018 at the National High Magnetic Field Lab (MagLab) AMRIS facility, located at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

The workshop will focus on technical details of sample preparation, data acquisition, data processing, and statistical analysis. Significant time will be spent in lab preparing samples and acquiring both 1H and 13C data. As part of the workshop, the participants will be instructed by team members of NMRBox, a cloud based virtual environment that conglomerates a large number of NMR data processing solutions.

The content is designed to introduce graduate students to applying NMR to metabolic studies. Registration is limited to 5 participants, who will be responsible for travel and lodging. Lunch will be provided.
