The National High Magnetic Field Day is excited to offer Homeschool Day on May 8th, 2024.
Homeschool students are invited to attend to learn about the MagLab's research through a hands-on activity that explains the science.
Two different activities are being offered, Make an Electromagnet and Superconductivity: A Matter of Temperature. Each of these will be followed up by a tour of the facility led by a MagLab researcher.
This event is open to students in grades 5 and up, and is absolutely free!
Activities are at 10:00-12:00 Build an Electromagnet & Tour, or 11:00-1:00 Superconductivity & Tour.
The number of students attending and the selection of the activity will be made in the registration.
